Rowan Helping Ministries Receives Grant Awards from Leon Levine Foundation

"We are incredibly grateful to the Leon Levine Foundation for their generous support and confidence in our mission," Kyna Grubb, executive director of Rowan Helping Ministries, says in a press release.

The nonprofit in Salisbury, NC, has received two grants of $150,000 each from the foundation, which backs programs that align with its four core mission areas: education, healthcare, human services, and Jewish values.

The grants will allow Rowan Helping Ministries to continue providing emergency shelter, food programs, crisis financial assistance, transitional and permanent supportive housing, and more.

"These grants will have a real impact on our ability to serve those facing homelessness, food insecurity, and other crises in our community," says Tom Lawrence, president of the Leon Levine Foundation.
