So says Jeff Mikulina, executive director of Climate Hawai'i, which is now accepting nominations for its first climate leadership awards.
Nominees in five categories: individual climate hero, business climate champion, nonprofit or government climate advocate, youth climate leader, and innovative climate solution.

"Our goal is to showcase those at various levels of leadership, underscoring our belief that solving our climate challenge is everyone's kuleana," Mikulina says, per the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
